2021 Annual Meeting Update April 23, 2021
After thorough deliberation and consultation with the Annual Meeting Committee and The Rees Group, the Board of Directors has concluded that the best option for the 2021 Annual Meeting is to go completely virtual. We spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the options for either an in-person, completely virtual, or hybrid meeting. Based upon current local restrictions and safety protocols, mandatory capped attendance (300 persons), travel restrictions for some of our members, cost analysis, potential liability, and the fluid nature of the pandemic and potential further restrictions, an in-person or hybrid meeting is not feasible at this time. Therefore, we have decided to focus ACVP efforts and resources on creating the best virtual meeting experience for all of our members. The Annual Meeting Committee has planned a full and exciting program that will work well in the virtual meeting format.
You will soon be receiving the Call for Abstracts for poster and platform presentations with a submission deadline of July 1. Please plan to submit your research.
Everyone on the Board of Directors and the Annual Meeting Committee anticipate that we will be together again in 2022 and look forward to seeing all of you, virtually, in October. Thank you for your support.

January 13, 2021 The ACVP Board of Directors met recently to consider the format of the 2021 ACVP/ASVCP Concurrent Annual Meeting scheduled for October 30–November 2 in Seattle. The decision was made to move forward with a hybrid Annual Meeting consisting of both face-to-face and virtual components. Annual Meeting planning committees are now starting to work on what that will look like in the fall of 2021. Adjustments will be communicated through email and posted on the ACVP website. Refer to this page for continuing updates. Please make your contribution to the content of the 2021 Annual Meeting by submitting an abstract for presentation by July 1, 2021.
